Easy up on my boom and my boom wants to drop. Feels like a dead spot. How hard to diagnosed

Install a hyd gage in the system and see what pressure you have.

Could be air. Have you did some full cycles with the boom.

It might be a spot in the cyl where the seals don't seal good.

Check the load check for no trash, good spring and good seat.
