I'm new to posting but have stopped in quite a bit.
I'm hoping someone here can tell me I'm overlooking something.
Our 1920 all of a sudden wont allow full engagement of the PTO with only 600hrs on it.
Lever and linkage are free moving, detents are positive. At the engaged position it's nothing but ugly grinding noise when clutch is let out, and further engagement past that point changes nothing.
Clutch pedal is adjusted for approx. 1" of free travel.
I learned here in another post, that there is a PTO clutch adjustment and havn't exhausted that possibility yet, however I have the suspicion that it ain't gonna help.
Any chance it is just a worn and out of adjustment PTO clutch, before I load the thing up and see exactly how much blood the dealer can squeeze out of a wallet?
On the same note, is there a online Shop manual anyone is aware of?
All I keep getting is manuals for sale.
Thanks!
