I have a 1725 that’s leaking transmission fluid where the drive shaft comes out of the rear of the transmission how hard is it to change the seal

Are you talking about the PTO seal?
If so, drain the oil in the rear end, remove plate #26 and remove seal #30. Install a new seal and bolt up plate. Fill with oil.
