Kubota B2710
I have a 1990'S Kubota B2710 that has served me well since I've owned it (10 yrs±)
Last December my Everything Attachments grapple finally arrived. I didn't need it until Spring, so it's only been attached a few months.
Maybe 5-10 hours on it, and suddenly it won't close but half way. Seems to open OK (A little slow maybe), but closing just comes to a stop around the halfway point.
Plenty of fluid in the reservoir (maybe too much?).
I don't even know how to diagnose this problem. Help?

That is a bummer for sure. What were you doing when the problem started? What happens when it stops closing ? Just stops and you hear the pressure relief valve kick in ? Also when it gets stuck or jammed and stops are the lengths of both cylinders the same or is one longer than the other and putting a twist into the grapple ??

Any thing you can tell us may be helpful.

Check the Quick Disconnects. One could've popped out even though it looks connected and would cause that issue. Specially the way those are hanging on the grille guard. Even though it may look fine, I still suggest that you disconnect them and connect again.

Make sure you relieve the pressure first with the engine off.

Start with quick couplers, they sometimes seam together but don't mate up completely.

Not that I would ever do anything like this, but some say if you don't watch when you are routing the rubber hoses, you can pinch them together and the grapple won't work as it should. E A sells a spring to keep the Slack out of the hoses and from pinching the hose where the fluid won't pass through it. And you are so excited about your new grapple that you didn't buy that spring ,and you have to use a bungee cord doubled up to keep the hoses from binding together when it reaches that magic spot when curling /opening/closing the grapple. Not that this has ever happened to me, but so I'm told this can happen. Good luck on all your projects.

It's been suggested but - disconnect and reconnect the hydraulic hoses to the grapple.

check the stroke on the cylinders by taking a coupling off
