I too was surprised that you could get a Z71 Package on a 2WD,don't believe I ever saw one.Most Z71's up north are 4WD. Enjoy your truck.

Thanks! I can't say I understand the idea of a Z71 package on a 2WD truck myself beyond marketing. On the other hand I like how it looks and drives so I'll roll with it. :cool2:

Nice looking truck. I like where you put your brake controller. When I mount things like that I usually end up spending an hour finding a place to mount it and a 1/2 hour actually putting it in.

Thanks! I looked at the Ram's as well. Had a Dakota loved back in 2001 but the Sierra's really grabbed me. The brake controller location was the only one I could find that would be out of the way. I originally tried mounting it in the change drawer (ash tray replacement) so that I could hide it away when not in use, but even after cutting the back of the drawer I just couldn't make it work. Meh, gotta shell out 70.00 one of these days to get a change drawer that doesn't have the back cut out.
