Just bought a new GC1735MB for light work, very happy with it. But after using the backhoe for just a bit, it started leaking. The dealer said that it was a known issue and is covered under warranty with an updated part. Just posting for anyone that buys a new GC with BH to work it early, verify that it doesn't leak. I'll post part numbers of the control valve body if I get them after the repair. It is a little annoying that a new tractor can have a known issue, but nobody checks it before sell off to the customer. And the local dealer honors warranty work, but charges for hauling it to/from owners location.

Also, it runs fine, but when I switch the key on, the fuel pump whine is more of a rattle-y whine, not the smooth whine of every other fuel pump I've heard. I'll get the dealer to check it when it's in for the BH repair. Anyone else have a little rattle to their fuel pump on their GC? Is this normal?

Most likely, it uses a pulse type lift pump, also referred to as a clickity-clack pump because they have a clicking sound when running. I. Guessing you only hear it with key on engine off?

lift pump makes that noise, its normal.

Thanks guys! Yes, only hear it when key is on, engine off. Can't hear it over the engine noise once the engine is running. Clickety-Clack is a good description of the sound.
