I have a 47 HP Kubota. I've been reading about changin blade on 5' Bush Hog Squeeler. Sounds like not much fun..

Been told that it is MUCH easier to sharpen the blades than replace because removing the blade connection bolts usually requires cutting them off. To sharpen with cutter on tractor and tractor off; engage PTO to prevent cutter head from rotating; unhook top link and stand cutter up vertically lifting from the wheel (back) side (might need lifting help); lower 3ph until cutter is resting on front edge; fixture blade inside deck of cutter for easy access to cutting edge of blade using clamps and such; use 7.5" hand grinder to sharpen cutting edge; repeat on second blade. Then come do mine for me:)
