New for 2016, JD changes warranty on CUTS

Just being released, JD is now going to increase their powertrain coverage on 1-4 series compact
tractors from 36 months up to 6 years/2000 hours!
I'm sure more details will follow, as this is a recent announcement.
Competition is good eh?

Too late for me, but it'd be nice to see Kubota follow suit. The five year warranty of the Korean tractors sure sounds nice.

Wow that's great news... So many good choices out there, it was a good move for them as I'm sure their market share has really dropped.

I suspect you are correct. Got to be a reason.

Looks like extra added incentive in addition to 0% for 60 months and bonus on attachments started a few months ago.

JD doesn't pay for the service calls. They'll cover warranty items, no charge, if you truck the tractor to them.

I think most all brands don't cover transportation or service calls.

I think this depends on your dealer. I have bought Deere and New Holland equipment and they would come out and fix the equipment at the farm free of charge.

My dealer will do warranty service on site but I wonder if they will rethink the policy with a 6 year warranty. However, a drivetrain warranty will probably have so few claims it won't be a big deal.
