New DK45SE HST

Just bought a new DK45SE HST. Have been on TractorbyNet for over a year now reading all the posts I could to learn about different tractors. I decided on a Kioti because of the quality and price. Had to drive to Wisconsin from Minnesota to purchase it though. None of the dealers here had any DK's in their inventory.
I purchased the DK45SE HST with a third function valve and a woods 72" brush mower. I have to wait at least a week for them to get the third function valve installed and the tractor ready. They will deliver it to my property when ready.
This is my first ever tractor, so you all can imagine how excited I am to have it delivered and start using it.
So, this is my way of saying thank you to all who post their opinions here. For those of us just starting out in the tractor world, it is an incredible source of information from people who have no agenda.

You bought a great tractor. It will easily handle a 7 foot mower. Probably to late to change your order. I dont think you will ever regret your choice.
Be Careful get loaded tires. A strong tractor like yours and new owner can get you in trouble fast.

Agreed, it a a very powerful tractor for your first, but just think everything through before you act, and you will get the hang of it in no time. Good machine and you will enjoy it a lot.

I run a 6 ft Bush Hog on my 45 and it seems ideal for my mowing needs on our Pennsylvania hills.

Turned over 130 hours today baling hay. Love the a/c cab. Finally loosen up the throttle and adjusted the cruise magnet closer so just about have the DK 45 working the way I want it. Dealers could win a lot of good will by going over the new tractors at 50 hrs and check the set up and help new owners with tips. Enjoy your new tool/toy.
