Tim, just checked mine and yes it rolls back and forth too. Not bad though, so I suspect yours is the same. Used it the other day to plow garbage, don't ask, worked great.

Wish this plow had more ground clearance. I put a piece of machine belt on mine and man, it wants to beach on everything. I could run my 500 through the woods with the plow installed (yes, there were 12oz pain killers and a bonfire involved). I wouldn't even dream of that with the 1100.

Tim, my problem exactly. Too much hardware for a simple plow, after looking at plows mounted on small garden tractors on this forum.
I've got pics of my latest creation and will post later. Removed winch and bumper.
But, now I want to simplify the bracket. We carry around away too much iron. Mine drops the front end 1.75 inches when raised and most of that is 200 lbs, just a guess, of attachment hardware. I planning a simpler install with lots more range of motion, read height availability.
It will take time to line up a welder and some iron, but I've got some ideas that should work and be at least 100 lbs lighter.
Then I want to put 1" spacers at the top of the front struts to gain some extra front end height, they are a little low at the best of times.
With the guard and winch off and no plow it rode up real nice.:thumbsup:

Yes I have 1/2" of slop. To be expected and not have everything bind up with snow or dirt. Works and swings like the day I first installed. Not a bad plow really. Just Curtis is using the same mounting hardware too many times and it's become cumbersome compared to others.
Here is my current setup with a 6" cylinder, was 4". Just trying to get more range.
The spacer is 2.5x2.5 and required to keep the lift mount from hitting the hood. And yes you can open the hood, just.:laughing: More good luck than good management.:laughing::laughing:
The A-frame pivots are far too close to the ground and we should have 12" of movement. That will be my goal. Big dreamer.:licking:
