Now that these have been out for some time now does any one have opinions good or bad . I have a older YM 1700 that I use for personel use and also I do some tractor work on the side . I was thinking of updating my tractor and was wondering if the new cubs where as tough and strong as the older Yanmars thanks for any info

I looked at just about all brands and models when I was looking. I was settled on a Kubota until I found the Cub/Yanmar. I test drove a demo EX3200TLB and was hooked. I could not afford the BH, so I got the EX3200TL HST R-4s for $14,900 with 0% for 36mths. It would have been $13,900 for cash. I also got a 5' BigBee brush hog.

I have about 15hrs on it, and I only have two complaints so far: 1) No cup holder (Is that a real complaint? HAHAHA); 2) The 3pt hitch lever is a little far down and the seatbelt latch gets in the way when you are really having to work the 3pt. #1 is no big deal, I can make a holder to put on it. #2 I just wear my seatbelt.

I only got the brush hog first because that is all I could afford. I plan on getting an implement a year. I am borrowing some implements right now from my boss: 5.5' boxblade and post hole digger. It has plenty of power for both. I have hit some buried stumps from where I just had some mulching done, and it powered the boxblade rippers right through them.

It should handle that grass and tall brush great. I have been mowing some larger hardwood brush with no problem. I use my bucket to push it over as I run and then the brush hog chews it up never slowing down. I run about 2000-2300 RPM with the brush hog and about 1500 RPM with the boxblade.

I bought an EX3200 last August and love it. You've got to know though that the tractors I had used significantly beforehand were from the 1950's and 1960's, an 8N and a MF 35. I have the tractor with loader. I got it for just under $14k, with 0% for 60 months.

There are a couple of small complaints as mentioned above. The only one I'll add is, being a big guy, it's hard to engage the PTO without my right leg getting into the loader control lever.

I bought it to work the food plots at the hunting club, mostly brush cutting. Since then, we've bought 40 acres, about 25 of which is pasture. I kinda wish I'd bought the 450, so I could use a larger mower.

I've used it with a 5' brush cutter in Johnson grass taller than eye level while seated, and in pretty rough terrain (clear cuts). I've only had to go to low range once, when cutting thick grass that was really too wet to mow. I've also used a 5' disc and a 5' tiller. The tiller is a 5' King Kutter and I can use it at its lowest setting in 2nd range. It's a stout little tractor. The only thing I haven't done with it yet is use a moldboard plow. I have a single share, 14" plow on order. The manual says it will pull a 12-2.

I also loaded the tires with WW fluid.

One other note I wanted to add. The local dealer went out of business about 2 months ago. I called the next nearest dealer to order a service manual. CCY wants $125 for the manual shipped loose leaf (you have to provide the binder). I found a bundle on ebay that included the Operating Manual, the Service Manual, and the Parts Manual on CD for about $20.

How do you like the Manual/Service Cd from Ebay?
I was looking at them also but for the SC2450.

I ordered the manual set last week and received the CD Saturday. It was either 2 or 3 business days from order to receipt, USPS. I've only had a few minutes to look through the files. By all appearances they are the real deal.

As far as how good of a manual set it is, I probably won't know that until I have to use it to make a repair. The Service Manual is about 276 pages.
