Took delivery of my new CK30 gear plus 5' landpride rotary cutter and landpride rear 3 way blade last Friday.

Already showing 12 hours on the meter (must have had 3-4 on it when delivered) when I put it to bed last night. I hope I got a loader out of a good batch because she's been put to work digging and moving dirt for sure. Did good mowing too. Ran low on diesel that afternoon as the tank was probably only 1/2 full when I got it....no biggie. 5 gallons the next morning had the tank full and ready to work.

Other than a jam nut that likes to loosen on the loader control....no problems so far. Well...I did manage to jam up the rear tire on the rotary cutter and bend up the C bracket holding it while digging in the pond....oops. A little heat and beat and she was back to nearly new shape.

Pulled the plow real well Sunday. I love that loader for digging, moving and smoothing dirt too. If she cracks I'll cry.

I was a bit surprised how thirsty she could be.....I bet I ran a gallan an hour through her.

Hopefully I'll get some pics soon.....too busy trying stuff out.

:^D

Your more than welcome Jordan. Did you get that loader joystick fixed ok? Rhea really enjoyed her trip up that way. Sorry again I didn't get the chance to meet with you.

Congrats Jordan,

Welcome to the pack! Watch your rear attachment when working in low spots!

A gallon an hour at PTO RPM is pretty typical for me too. The tank is almost 8 gallons and the needle on your fuel gauge will stay full until it quickly drops at about 5 gallons of use. Don't risk running it dry. Bad things could happen.

Tell us about the plow. Single bottom? Any pics? I have some ground that needs to be cultivated and have never run a plow so it would be good to know how the CK30 does at this task. Also curious about this 3 way blade having run a dozer with a 6 way.

I'm up to 375 hours and the tractor has really been solid.

I'm sure that any loader crackage will be handled very well by depratt, it's the smaller dealers with limited mechanical staff that might be more challeneged. Don't pull any punches and use that loader as it is intended.

Congratulations.

hehehehehe.....had to ding him on that....I was too preoccupied to check the tank level and really didn't give a dang....I have NO complaints....well....my depratt shirt is a large and I'm an extra large.....but really.....Jon and Rhea were GREAT!!! I need a diet. My wife got a kick out of my new hat and a LEETLE bit to tight shirt. LOLOLOL!! I was just surprised how quickly it ran low on fuel.

I couldn't believe they would deliver 4 hours away for free. Great folks. I think Rhea timed it right for the fall color. Hopefully she took my advice for the return trip and got an eye full.

The Plow is a single bottom mouldboard plow with probably 12 or 14" blade. I would lose traction a bit with it all the way down on the next pass when I was one tire in the prior pass and on top of the dirt I'd just turned over.....but not bad at all. Hit the locking diff and raise the plow a smidge and back on the roll. Its good for ditching too.

3 way blade is simply a rear blade that rotates left and right plus can be angled up and down for grader work, ditching, etc. Primarily for gravel dressing and snow removal.

A couple more weekends and it will be time for m 50 hour service. yikes!

Welcome to the Pack! :D I have the CK30-HST and run about the same on fuel. I have noticed that the gage hold high for the first half of the day and in the afternoon drops like a rock. When on "E" I find I that a five gallon pail fills her right to the top, so you can do the math from there.

In any case the work per gallon is incredible! I can't say enough about how happy :) I am owning this machine and how amazed I am at how much work this machine can do for its size. I hope you find the same is true for you! ;)

Welcome to the pack Jordanh. My 30 has been a real workhorse, been said many times on this board, don't know how I ever got along w/o it. I also had that loader joystick issue on mine, but dealer sent a mechanic to fix the day after delivery. Needless to say I can't say enough good things about them. Been fine for the last 53 hours, if it ever misbehaves again I'll sock a little locktite to it.

I just completed my 50 hour service this week. I could have had the dealer do it, but it was pretty painless and besides I got to bond with the beast. Nothing like crawlin' over and creepin' under your machine to get to know it, right? Hope you enjoy your orange beast as much as I mine.
