Just installed the glass cab on my xuv, I installed a curtis heater. I am getting ready for snow plowing this winter.

That looks like a perfect winter set up! Nice touch. May I make a suggestion? You might want to put up a rear screen to prevent anything in your bed from landing on your lap. Frank

I was thinking about something like that to protect the back window. I dont want to have to replace any of the windows if I can help it.
I will take the doors and back window off during the summer.

The cab will come in handy during hunting season also.

Nice lookin' set-up >>>>

If you haul it anywhere on a trailer, be sure to run it backwards on the trailer. Helps on in-coming rocks from other vehicles on the road !!!

I also have the Mauser cab, but got the Deere heater. They say that other heaters do not stick out much, as maybe the Curtis. I have the 72' Deere snow blade.

You'll enjoy plowing snow with it.

That is a great looking set up. I'd love to see the rig once you have it in the snow. Stay safe.

What kind of price did you get on that cab vs the jd cab? I went to their website and they have all kinds of neat stuff. thanks

My heater mounts behind the dash in the storage area and has a defroster outlet for the winshield on the dash. I bought the curtis heater because it was half the price of the Deere heater.
Do you have the V blade or the straight blade? I was thinking about getting the V blade to make it easier to carry snow when needed.

The heater works very well and the doors fit great with no leaks.

Yes it is the deluxe cab like yours, I ordered the xuv with the windshield and wiper then I bought the door and rear window kit with the heavy duty struts for 1650.00.
It sure makes it nice for fall days in nw montana.

With the cab (The Mauser cab is the one Deere offers), diesel engine, bed liner, bed lift, enhanced front suspension, straight snow blade (it can be set at different angles), heater, lights, tow equipment, bumpers, windsheild washer/wiper and a 25 gallon sprayer, it was 18k with taxes. I think the cab adds like $5500.

Since I bought it ,I got the sideview mirrors. I would also recommend the work lights, and if snow plowing the amber flashing light. Also the sound deadening package would be useful.

Air oonditioning would be a nice addition for the future.

Women give me comments like: What a cute little truck.

I have the straight 72" wide blade that manually can be angled. There is a kit that is used to beef up the front suspension for snow blade use, it may save you soome headaches later.

Thanks guys. I like my CUT, but hopping on and off ain't what it used to be, so the Gator is handy.

I like the RTVs too, but I haven't seen one up close.

Now I get envious of the guys with the Toolcats. I would love to get one with a stump grinder.
