Tractorless for the past 2 years after selling the mighty B2920 (back/hip surgery whole other discussion) the new BX2380 got to work today on my many backed up landscaping jobs. First up destroying my landscaping idea of FAIL! You know what makes weeds and moss grow really well, decorative lava rock (face palm). I drowned it in Round Up and moss killer to no avail so okay fine DESTROYED!!
First use of the FEL, it lifted these heavy bricks and buckets of rock/sand no problem. Front turf tires a bit bouncy if I got going too fast on my lumpy lawn. Definitely slower than my old FEL but I didn't have the RPM's that high. All in all real happy with the FEL this is just the size jobs I have in store for it.
Obliterated, not sure what I'm going to fill in this spot now. Thinking about pea gravel? The soil you see there is construction sand its sterile nothing grows in it, all the weeds were growing right into the lava rock.
Implements Inbound...lawn roller and 3 point spreader. I drove all over town yesterday and nobody stocks either.
Speaking of my lumpy lawn Brinly-Hardy 24x36 inch lawn roller. The heaviest I could find in poly, too many reports of the steel rollers leaking. We have clay here I'll need the weight to flatten the lumps.
Land Pride FSP500 spreader because DEATH TO WEEDS!! Chemical warfare will resume shortly. I chose the Land Pride because of stainless construction and the non stainless spreaders were not even $100 less so I stepped up.
