New BX2350 with 60mmm mulch kit

Hi I just received my new BX2360 today with 60MMM and mulch kit. Paid for the mulch kit, but dealer (Lano Equipment, Anoka, MN) tells me there is no insert or plate on the discharge for the kit. He said It only includes the Blades. This doesn't seem right and I sorta feel I got ripped off. When I mowed the lawn, clippings were sprayed all over the place on my lawn.

Does anyone know what is included in the Mulch Kit? As it stands now for me it's useless. This goes along with the 60" Landpride used scraper I got that I thought I was paying for a new one? Like the machine but feel the dealer isn't being totally honest.

What comes in a kubota mulching kits is the 3 blades and a curved metal plate which mounts under the deck on the left side to close off the left front corner under the deck. Did not make any sense to me. I mounted it but don't think it made any difference. My guess was to make more lift under the deck to mulch better.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. This is what I have. Mine just sprays the clippings out like a normal blade. This was a waste of money. I saw on some other sites that there was a plastic insert and a plastic cover over the discharge chute. These were also on a 60" deck on a BX2360. Do you know if there are two types, or if one was an aftermarket product?

The way it stands it looks like I might have to splurge for the grass catcher or some tow behind unit. This time I went through with my pushmower with mulcher to actually mulch the clippings. Kinda defeats the purpose of a nice new tractor. It was so thick in spots my pushmower almost stalled.
