The BX2200 with 54 in MMM and Woods Estate Series landscape rake was delivered yesterday, and between the raindrops, I logged more than an hour on the meter.
Questions and comments-
1-No SMV sign came with the tractor- is it an extra cost item?
(Haven't questioned the dealer yet.)
2-Ordered the bars over the turfs due to what I read in the TBN postings - the dealer charged me $50. I called him after we made the deal; should I have stipulated same at the outset?
3-interest item-the BX came thru with another set of rear lites-now 3 on each rear - the round amber hazards and a new directional, both mounted on the ROPS, and the red one that's on the fender. (Sorry, I'm currently photographically deficient.)
4-Now the venting - (Remember, I'm a complete novice to tractors and implements) the Woods Estate Seies rake is apparantly of superior structural and cometic quality - the big but - the design engineering ???? I ordred the optional guage wheels - they work fine in the forward direction, but in reverse, they cannot 'castor' because of the interference distance between the wheel and the rake tines. In other words, in reverse, the whels will attempt to castor, but the they hit the tines and then they just dig into the ground.
Any comments from folks who have a rake with wheels?
thanks!
