Well, I traded my BX2200 that I bought new in January on the new BX22. I made the mistake of going look at it when my local dealer got one in! I will be getting it this afternoon, I can't wait!
I've been telling myself I'd better stay away from them, that I don't need a backhoe /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif. Sounds like you're going to have a great time. Be sure to update us on your impressions. Also take a look at how the backhoe hydraulics are plumbed and let me know if you think it could work on the BX2200. Would be a nice clean way to get rear aux ports.
If you don't mind, what kind of pricing did you get? What exactly did you trade - BX2200 tractor only or tractor/loader?
I stoppped by dealer tonight and just got sticker prices - didn't do any negotiating. Sticker price I was quoted for BX22 with turf tires, 10" bucket and 4 way valve was 17,000.
This dealer is usually to the high side and negotiates down pretty well if you have other peoples numbers to quote. I bought a BX2200/loader/mower last May from this dealer and am considering trading the tractor/loader in for the BX22 if I can negotiate a good enough deal & get permission from the boss.
Thanks

The verbal pricing I've gotten so far: BX22,bar tires,4-way valve, 12" bucket - 15,725. This tractor was in stock. Another dealer gave me a price of 15,500. He didn't have any in or give me any detail on what the 15,500 would get me. I'll probably start firming up numbers within the next couple weeks. C
I only had 40 hours my BX2200 that was bought in January. I traded the tractor and FEL. The FEL mount is different on the BX22. I kept the Kubota bagger, which also fits the BX22. $5600 tax included!
What is different about the mount? I'm really curious as to why they had to have a new model of FEL for the BX22, especially since the specs aren't any better....
I looked at the bx22 at the dealer the other day, and the reason they have a different loader is there are support brakects that tie from the bottom of the loader attachment on the tractor to the back of the tractor were the backhoe mounts. The support brakect looks about 3/8" to 1/2" thick and runs pararrel to the tractor's frame.
