I'm also new to tractors and hope to purchase my first one very soon. I've been given a price of $11,000 for a BX1850 which includes a front loader, a Woods RCC42, front grille guard and delivery and tax. It seems to be a very good price, correct? Any thoughts, advice would be much appreciated. Oh, I'm in WA state.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. I'd check the front grille guard...I wanted the Kubota guard when I bought mine and if you don't get the BX24, it is this funky orange thing that looks bent when new. If you can get your dealer to get you the nice one off the BX24, you're good. Otherwise, I'd check on e-bay. I got mine off this guy who makes them and ships them out for $125 or something. It's built very well and is less expensive than the funky orange one from Kubota.
