New BX 2350 Owner

Well, I took my Dad to look at a BX 2350 and he decided to get one.I think I wanted it more than he did.It's got more bells and whistles than my B7500 does. No clutch,hydrolic deck, more HP. It will be delivered on Monday.He got the 54" deck with it. I think it looks better than the 60".He lives on a hill and it is unlevel. He also has alot of trees and plants to mow around.He got it with the R-4's.
I would like to know how other BX owners like there machine? Pics would be great. My Dad didn't get any equipment with it. He got it for mostly mowing. I have all of that when he needs it. Pics,Pics,Pics Pics PLEASE. I'm getting the fever.

very nice on the 2350. I really, really thought we were going to get a 2350 as well but it turns out we are leaning towards the JD 2305. both are great tractors. i agree i would rather have the 60" MMM as well.

Got my 2350 last Sept. love it. never fails and service is awesome. Trying to figure out what mower is best mid or 3pt?? Open to ideas. I am looking a a 72" pt Land Pride slightly used, and wondering if it would be to big?? side discharge vs rear??

60" is all I'd recommend although through the years I know on the rear we'd put a 72" on if the customer wanted one with that horsepower.

72" sounds awfully wide for your machine especially if mowing thick grass.

I'm amazed at how much I can do with the 2350. I already had the L3130 w/BH so I got the 2350 primarily as a mowing tractor but got the loader for small stuff. I end up on IT more than the 3130.. very capable for many tasks and much more forgiving on the turf. It's also a **** of a snow mover.. great traction with the bar tires. I have a set of turfs for mowing season.

Guys thanks for the words of wisdom. I appreciate the up front the members show on this. I have down sized to the 60 as a max. now,......midmount or 3 pt. I go back and forth, like many members. Maybe I should rent a 3pt 1st?? It's a tough call, I see others struggle with it as well. Good problem to have, I guess. One thing for sure! I won't be pulling it with a horse. Man we have pretty good, don't we?

I went with the 60" mmm after getting advice on the forums and from my dealer that it was more maneuverable and they were right. I've been impressed with the cut, even in heavy wet grass. I had read some complaints that the bigger deck could push engine temperature too high but I've never experienced that, even on hot days.

That is great news. Do you do more than mow? I will need to do light loader work for another couple yrs. from time to time. Minor landscape stuff. I won't be hauling through the woods or cutting in any road work. I thingk the MMM s/b a good call. they are tough to find reasonable though. no used ones out there yet. In this neck of the woods they get $16-$2200. How about out your way?

Anyway, there are deals to be had, you just have to keep looking. Got a 60MMM for $1100 (had maybe 5 hrs on it). Check out Mcgrew equipment auctions.
