Looking at different new bush hogs and need help deciding.
I cut several fields but all grass. No saplings or anything thicker than Johnson grass. Around 10 acres but far from flat.
One is a lighter weight Agri X. That's what I'm leaning towards. Anyone have any experience with it? Far as I can tell it is a lighter weight Big Bee/Darrell Harp offering. I've been using a very old, battered Big Bee that has been great.
Another is a U.S. made Titan that is a heavier duty build with 7-inch channel iron sides. They have a heavier-duty framework with a C-channel backbone and fully welded side panels. The Decks are reinforced with 2x3 tubing.
Lastly, I'm intrigued by the Rural King's "flex hitch" which claims - the unique hitch allows it to roll 15 Degrees up or down on the left or right side of the machine, which lets it follow the contours of your field.
Any thoughts? The Agri x is a couple of hundred dollars cheaper. Titan and Rural King about the same.
By the way, already decided to buy new. Probably the last bush hog I'll buy. And, I the up calling them bush hogs. I know it's a brand name but it's what I always called them.
