Of course often times it's a challenge getting to the stem!

I've found that the stuff has a runner-style root system so pulling it seems to work pretty well, I pull it and find a few more small plants nearby that come up with it. Keeps it away from an area for years.

I'd prefer to use goats, but I'm worried about the lions...
