Tractor
none...looking
Purchase my first tractor ever 1/7/19. I got the Branson 4720H largely in part on what I have been reading on here and other reviews. I was dead set on the New Holland Boomer until a friend recommended that i look into the LS being they build the New Holland and I could get it cheaper. In doing that is how I came across the Branson brand. The Branson dealer is 15 minutes down the road. They have been in the tractor business for nearly 40 years and were extremely helpful in helping me choose the right tractor. I didn't need the 4720, they tried to save me money but for just 4k more I got the 4720 over the 3720. I figured better to have it and not need it than the one time you need it and don't have it. So I am having the third function being installed for the grapple. I am to pick it up along with all the implements the first of next week. Sorry for the newb post, just excited to finally get my tractor.

Welcome!
I think you'll find you're just as tired at the end of the day, but you've gotten 10 times as much done!

You might inquire into getting rear remotes for greater functionality with your 3-point hitch attachments... however you are uncommonly close to your dealer so that could feasibly be done at a later time I suppose.

The Branson rear remotes (2) are reasonably priced. I got them and a third dealer added one on the fender, along with top and tilt cylinders. I use the top cylinder all the time; tilt is also good for box blading.

Awesome. What implements did you get? What are the first projects you will be doing?

And pics when you get them. We like tractor pics!

Congratulations and outstanding job on getting the rear remotes. I'm jealous.... Sounds like you have a great dealer.

I got a 72" grapple, 6' woods finish mower, 8' chain harrow. I started with the 60" grapple but the dealer called a few days ago and asked if I would be willing to get a 6' because someone was there picking up their tractor and wanted the 5' grapple they had in stock. They had to order the 6' grapple but gave it to me at the same price as the 5'. I'm not working in any tight spaces so thats why I got the 6' one. My first project will be picking all the limbs and trees I have cut down to open up my pasture to allow grass to grow better. Wife wants the creek cleared out so we can get to it without having to go into a jungle. That will take a while. I got the chain harrow to help spread the cow manure and open up the sandy soil to spread fertilizer and seed. I'll post picks as soon as I pick it up next week.
