I finally got my box blade delivered two and a half months after the tractor came. I built a new garage last fall and have been needing to finish the cleanup since to include work on the drive way. It is a frontier 1374 box and in the half hour I got to play with it before the rain last night it was awesome. I couldn't believe how much I was able to do in that little amount of time. I can't wiat untill I have a whole day to use it. I can also see that it is going to take a lot of seat time to be able to do some finish type work with it.

This is the first time I have installed the three point hitch because it came with the BH installed. Shouldn't one of my side links have the handle on it like the top link for adjustment? Both of my side links are the same.

They also delivered the tooth bar for the bucket. It slides over the front edge and bolts on the sides. Problem is there are no holes where it should bolt to. I can make holes for it but it just seemed odd to me that the holes were not already there. I ordered all this stuff in a package when I initialy bought the tractor.

You should have an ajustable link on the right side of the three point. You will have to drill a 1/2" hole on each side of the bucket. JC

There's no handles on my side-links. I use a large screwdriver thru the turnbuckle to turn them. My toothbar clamps onto the front edge with locking allen screws, so I don't need holes. They don't know what accessories you will buy so they don't put holes everywhere. It's mild steel on the sides of the bucket - easy to drill.

Both should be adjustable. One you have to take loose from the lift arm to adjust and the other should have two spin handles on it that allows for adjustment while still attached at both ends.

As COCRE said, it's very important to be able to adjust the lift arms to keep your implements level. Generally the right hand side is easily adjustable.

Thanks Guys,

I was pretty sure that the one side should have a turnbuckle style side link. Both my side links are adjustable but only if you take them off at the top or bottom and adjust hem and then reconnect. I already took a few pics and sent them to my dealer. He was pretty sure it was wrong also he was just trying to figure out how it happened. I have had a lot of that from this dealership. I have really kept my cool with them because I figure they are warranty work if I have real trouble.

I figured I may have to punch a few holes when I saw how it connected, didn't figure it would hurt to confirm it with you guys.

Thanks again.

If all else fails show him the pics in the owners manual. Plainly shows turning handles and explains how to use.
