New Bota 3130 in my garage

Got a new 3130 delivered yesterday. This is my first real tractor, can't wait to use it. Purchased with LA723 loader, with HD quick attach bucket, 4690B backhoe with 16" bucket, 1 remote rear valve, R-4s. Purchased from Carver Equipment, 1st class organization.

Thanks to Steve Carver and his crew.

Started out thinking I would get a B7800, then B2910, but thought I wanted something a little bigger. Turns out there's a big jump in the Kubota lineup, as the L3130 is almost twice the tractor with twice the capability. The 3130 is probably more than I need to maintan my 6 + acres, it's first job will be to assist clearing land for a barn. (I will rent a big machine for the 30" diameter stumps). For now it's "sleeping" in the garage, it kicked out my prized Mustang Convertible. This weekend, with some reorganization, I should be able to get both the Mustang and the Bota in the garage.

Congratulations... that 3130 is a real winner! I will bet that within 6 months you'll come to realize that you wouldn't have been happy with anything smaller. At least that's what happened to me after I bought my tractor - also from Carver's - a year ago. A smaller tractor would have been overwhelmed by the play (um, work) involved in turning 11 open and wooded acres into our eventual home.

I am looking to add a 4690 hoe like yours... once you get some time with it, I'd sure like to hear how you like it.
