New Battery for 3320

Hello TBN. I am new here and want to express my gatitude for a wonderful site.

My John Deere dealer just replaced the battery in my almost new 3320 for me.
I will try to post the before and after pictures just to let you know what a good job they did.

Looks like the picture is still on your hard drive on your computer. You need to have the picture stored somewhere on the web so it can be posted here. You can either upload the picture here (click on the PHOTO tab at the top of any TBN page) or you can store it on numerous other free online picture hosting sites. I find photobucket.com very easy to use. Once the picture is stored online you can attach it to a post here.

Wow that looks like a OPTIMA wannabe. Spiral wound and sealed, no venting of gasses?? Is that a John Deere replacement item?

Can you please post more info on this battery? Im pretty certain it replaced your 22NF style stock (leaker), and this replacement looks liked a sealed battery -but is it a spiral celled unit? Can you get the Deere part number for this unit? It looks to be bolt on too

I could find the battery listed on John Deeres part site, but I could not find a price, part number or application listing. I must be having a senior moment.

Geesh how about brand new machinery that cost more than antique autos (for the most part) - It would be nice that they offered it -


Thanks for the links guys - Optima dosent offer the Group51 yellow top anymore - they took it off the production line because of issues. It might come back in the future (based on email I got from them)
