Had my new B7610 delivered recently. I paid $14,300 minus $400 rebate for paying with cash so total was $13,900 out the door with LA352 loader, R4 tires (rear tires filled) and hook welded to bucket. I also got a 60 Woods box blade for $780 and added a toothbar for another $325. I also have a 48 bush hog on order.

There was one area of my property that was all bumpy and rutted from a bulldozer that did a lousy job on one portion of the site work. I used the box blade to flatten this all out. I am going to re-seed it next. It felt good to get that done because that portion of my land becomes more usable and I was always afraid one of my dogs (or me) would get hurt running through there.

So far, I am really impressed with this tractor. This was the most tractor I could afford new with the attachments that I wanted. I looked at some used machines, in particular a B2910 (which I shied away from because of a transmission issue) but I couldn稚 find a good deal. Most used tractors in good shape seem to cost almost as much as new.

The B7610 seems to be a good size for my 6.5 acre lot (about 1.5 acres lawn, 3 acres fields and 2 acres woods). I have a lawn tractor for cutting the grass so I will not be using it for finish mowing. I will be using the bush hog for mowing the fields. I thought hard about a snowblower, but I decided to buy a big walk behind (11 HP track drive Honda) to replace my little Toro and then be able to use the loader to push back banks, etc. if needed, plus still have use of the loader for firewood, etc.

This forum is really great and I have learned a lot here. I belong to several online forums and the camaraderie and lack of BS here is really refreshing to me. I also converting the chain stabilizers on the 3PH to telescoping arms with parts from the B2910 to make it a little easier to change implements. I never would have thought to do that without this forum. I might decide to go with a quick hitch set up too.

Congratulations on the new tractor! I think it will be perfect for your needs. It sounds like you put a lot of thought into what attachments will do the most for you, and have made good selections.

Nice looking machine. I've been shopping for a BX24 for some time. I few buddies have become interested and now it's three of us looking. One guy wants to go a little bigger, he looked at the B26, too big, the B7510/7610 might be the one. Now that I look at yours, i'm getting that upgrade itch and I don't even have my first one. We all have just over an acre, so I guess the BX is made for us, but I'd rather have some more lift in the loader. I've got a lot of dirt to move and mulch to spread.
May have to take another loofk at the B series.

Good choice for your needs.I bought a B7610 about 3 years ago with the 352 fel and a Woods Groundbreaker 6500 BH.Has never left me down yet.
Even on the coldest days it still fires up.Only problems i've ever had with mine were the front axle "steering seals"(both sides),and the loader valve getting real stiff in real cold weather.Seals were fixed under warranty.
Oh,one more problem,i'm on my third seat. All were replaced under warranty.Could be a isolated problem as this seat seems to be holding up good..................good luck w/ your new machine,...digger2

Congratulations, Pete. They're a great little tractor. You approach work with a different perspective with one of these on hand to help.....can't wait to get started. A project list becomes a list of opportunities instead of a collection of headaches.

If you didn't get one, you might want to think about a block heater before the Maine winter sets in. You won't need it for starting, but the pre-heated engine will sound a lot better and run easier when it first starts.

Aside from a quickly fixed hydraulic leak, mine's still trouble free at 125 hours.

I have had mine for over a year. I too looked at the larger and smaller tractors. The B7610 is just right. My dad has a B7510 and I needed more horsepower for the FEL. I also passed on a B2910 (250 hours). It had turf tires but at the time I did not know what I was looking at. My TBynet ejamication had just started.

One question. How bad did you seals leak? I noticed today mine look damp. A little oily soil. I was going to wipe them dry tomorrow and keep going.
