Kubota B7610HST / JD 2030
Hello, all I used this forum to decide to purchase a Kubota B7610HST, I pick it up Thursday I had a BX2230 for one night and returned it for the larger tractor. I have a small horse farm and want the larger tractor. This will be my mowing tractor around where I can't fit my larger Mower. I will post my thoughts. Keep up the great information. tractor and MMM60 12900 out the door. (posted under general but I wanted to post here i'm just a rookie)

Congratulations and welcome aboard. So many are buying these little guys lately. My B7510 is only a few months old and is getting fairly close to needing her 50 hour service.

I mowed for the first time with mine last weekend and was pretty pleased with it, after struggling to get the deck on. Took me about 25 minutes, but, it was the first time, so it'll get better.

Today is your day then, eh? Have fun.

Congrats on your purchase. Enjoy,

RossDean, I have 12 hours on my B7510. after reading some of the posts on the 50 hour service I have questions on the process and costs. Let me know how you come out.

Hey Burk, I believe that I'm going to attempt the 50 hour service on my own, well, with a little help from some friends, too. Biggest thing will be disposing of the fluids, but seems I read or heard somewhere that it isn't all that difficult, perhaps TSC takes it or some place similar.
I will post the process, 'cuz I know it's going to be a total pain in the butt for me, just the way learning something goes in my world, but hey, beats having to rely on the dealer all of the time.
Yeah, I pushed over a couple of so-so size cherry trees last weekend, probably 5 inches. Just moved from side to side, jiggled it some, moved again and "pop", out they came. Very fun machine.

Did the 50 Hour on my last B7500 (same tractor as the B7510) and all I can say is that the American Manufacturers really need to take a lesson from some of the others, like Kubota. In a little over 90 minutes, I was done, cleaned up, and on to the next project... including the engine oil and the mower deck. It is so easy. The worst is waiting for the front drain plug to fully stop draining (HST). That's when I was working on the deck and the engine oil. The rest is very accessible, and easy to complete. Good Luck.

Congratulations on the B7610. I have had mine for about 2 months and have found all kinds of neat stuff to do....
