Yes

Out of conscience, I pretty much have replaced veal with chicken. Big happy cows you have. Neighbor and us have some Scottish highlanders.

Congrats!!!! One of my long term goals is to have some cattle. Gotta clear more land and build my fence first, which seems to always get put at the bottom of my priority list.

A hungry pregnant big cow can polish off near two good size square bales a day when it is cold out. Know my wife says the little baby can't go out in the field with the Eastern Coyotes. They get to around +60 lbs up here. Expensive beef.
I let my dog out after them, but they just bark and howl at each other. It get creepy being out in the woods at dusk.
