Buying Advice New 5740C welcome advice

Hello, I purchased a new 5740 expect delivery later in the week, I welcome your advice on the things to check out, and break in. I have asked the dealer to check all lines-hoses and make sure they are secured, I will also put protectors in various areas.

One thing I noticed on all the 5740's was the shifting felt rubbery IMO, since it was on all 4 I drove I guess it is normal, unclebuck does your feel like that also? Thanks for all the input and advice

My friend, I'm not sure what you mean by "rubbery". I say that because with regard to my 5740C, whether I'm in "L" or "H", shifting into anyone of the 4 gears doesn't feel like anything to me but smooth. Maybe they have changed something on the new ones though. I can't say I remember mine ever feeling anything but smooth when shifting either.

Thanks it is likey just different from what I am used to "Clunk". I look forward to the delivery in next few days.
