New 5020c

I just bought my first tractor last week. It is a 5020c with FEL and fork/grapple. It is being delivered this friday and cant wait to get some seat time in. Any advice or helpful hints in advance are greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know of any reasonably priced businesses here in Alaska to get attachments from, everything i have found seems to be almost double the price of the lower 48 and for that much id be better off buying from down south and paying the nominal fees for shipping it up here.

I saw your grapple fork in the pics only thread. Looks pretty nice...where did you find it? Congrats on the tractor. LS seems to have a good product.

I'm not 100% sure as I have only seen it up close one for about 5 minutes when I was purchasing it but it looked to me that it was actually built by the dealer I went through. I know they do make a lot of their own attachments there on site using pre fabbed back plates. It can also be used as a round bale spear by simply unscrewing two bolts and removing one if the forks and just centering the other.
I get back home from work Monday morning and will look it over to see for sure who built it.

I just got one three weeks ago with a 7ft hydraulic plow, backblade, pallet forks and asand/salt hydraulic drop spreader. I see a lot guys here have the 4047 which is hydrostatic. I prefer gears. They complain of a small cab, but I find my cab just fine and I'm 6ft 210. I wonder if they're different? Anyway, Good luck!

I'm pretty sure that the U5020 is a frame size up from the R4047. So I would think that your tractor would be less cramped.
