Price Check New 4520 Price?

Just received a quote from my local dealer here in Washington state and it came in at the following: $30650.00 for a new 4520 with 400CX Loader. Is this a fair price for the market as it is at this time or is it high or low according to all you fellow tractor purchasers? I am very much considering a trade up on my current 4300 but I just want to know where this quote stands along with others. Thanks for your help!

That seems about right. When we got our 'bota M4900 back in 2005, it came to just above $28k- with R4's, loader, 4x4, SS QA, forks- but we knew the people so got a good discount, plus we picked it up ourselves.


Now, I haven't priced one, but we need more info- tires, remotes, SS QA, cab, delivery, warranty, implements- that is what we need to determine if it is a good price or not.

Need more details regarding options, etc to better understand if you got a competitive quote or not.

Seat of the pants, though... I had some quotes this past Spring for a 4120 and a 4320 TLB with nearly all the options (no cab, though) and they were ~18% below MSRP.

I'd sure think, given the mood of things in the market, that your dealer could/would at least be able to hit that mark (18%) - IMO.

Should qualify my statement a bit with the acknowledgement that the '09 models have gone up in price somewhere in the neighborhood of 7% over a similarily configured 2008 model.

So, it's a little different equation with a new model but the '08's on the lot --- well, I think many dealers would/should be in the ballpark with the quotes I received this past March.

I bought a new 4520 in spring of 2005 400 cx loader r-4 tires first quote price was
$ 28,000 offered 24,000 and bought it delivered to house . I imagine prices are up from
2005 because of fuel, steel prices. I have been really satisfied with the tractor. it has good
power and is very easy to operate. these are good machines, I live in the corner of northeast arkansas, 50 miles from jonesboro. good luck with your purchase

There is a 2007 4120 with 350 hours and turf tires listed in my area on criagslist for $17,000. Just a little more info on what to consider.

My dealer HAD a new 4720cab with 400CX loader marked down to $35,500. It was sold and I don't see another on their lot yet.
