I know that everybody is looking for a sealed direct replacement battery for your tractor. I had a hard time finding one also so I purchased an Interstate sealed battery the same size as the JD model. The only thing it doesn't have the side mounting tabs that the JD model has. I was able to buy at the local auto parts store an over the top adjustable tie down for the battery. This way you can run the bracket long ways over the battery and use the existing mounting holes in the chassis. I did wrap some tape around the metal bracket just in case it might move and touch the terminal posts. It hase been in place for almost 2 years with no problems.
