New 3320 owner hydaulically challenged

Hey all,

New 3320 (no cab) owner. Took delivery about a week ago and it will be used on the 11 acres we recently purchased and are putting a log house on. My first projects for the tractor are clearing out where the house will be and a driveway. I got the tractor with the 300cx, 2060 bb and a 5'rotory mower.

I found this site in the time between purchase and delivery, while I was searching different implements. I like to work with metal and struck it big in the Customization and Build-it-Yourself sections

I'd like to build a set of grapple jaws for the fel and add a T&T for the box blade. both of these I"m sure would help with the 2 above projects.

The hydraulics is my downside. I've done some searching and am still confused as to exactly what I need for these two mods. Power Beyond, 3rd scv and teh like are all running together for me and I don't understand eachs place in life.

The PB, I think, would get me juice to the T&T but at the expense of 3pth function. I believe for the grapple I would need the 3rd scv and the "Hardline" kit which runs along the fel arm. I don't see any "extra" QC so I'm pretty sure I have to add plumbing for any of the things I'd like to add.

I'm hoping for a little clarification or total correction if I'm way off.

Congrats on the new machine!
PB...Not exactly...if you hook it up like Momma Deere intended, then yes you'll loose 3pt Function, basically the issue is with the drain/return line...return the oil back just like it does with the Hose Loop installed and you'll still have 3pt function, hook it up on the other port and you'll bypass the 3pt and drain straight to the "tank".... Very simple once you see pics...

The rear scv and the diverter option from deere will operate all the things you mentioned. JC

Would there be any advantage to getting a valve setup from W.R. Long?

IMHO, that is the best way to add a extra circuit to your FEL for a grapple.

With the JD solution for the grapple, how is the grapple opened and closed? From what I gather nothing is added to the fel joystick, so it sounds like you also need a 3rd arm to be able to raise/lower, dump/retract, and open/close the grapple at the same time, with the JD way?

If I go the "Long" route, what would I need from JD to work a T&T or just a hydro top link on the 3pth?

Thanks for helping me figure this out. I think I'm starting to get it.

The JD solution is to install a 3rd remote the puts the QD's on a bracket behind the seat, and the control handle on the right fender next to the 3PH lever. Then included in the FEL hardline kit are long hoses that go from the FEL to the rear couplers.
