Ok I just got my 3032E and noticed a few things.

First I love it and these are only nit picky things.

Only one key; really? Now I need to go get another one made. Am I the onlyone that likes a backup?

No drawbar on the back, that is an extra you must purchase extra also. That痴 no big deal in fact ill probably make a 2 inch hitch receiver.

I will defiantly have to get a quick hitch, the back three point hookup is all basic. I planed on doing that also.

The battery looks small and is just free sitting in the battery area. I need to find some way to keep it secured.

The owners manual says to do the first oil changes after 200 hundred hours. I will be doing a complete change out after 50 hours thank you.

If other owners notice things let me know. Thanks

You should get 2 I think...at least you used to. Most all the tractors are keyed the same so just go to your dealer and get one...no need to have one made.

JD may not admit it, but I think the "E" in the model # is for Economy, they cut back on a few things. But I do agree, a drawbar should be standard.

That does not sound correct, it should be well secured. I suggest you talk to the dealer about this as well as the missing key.

I agree, first change at 50hrs is a good idea.

The battery is secured at the bottom. Look on each side of it you'll see a clamp with a bolt through it on both sides of the battery.

Definitely change the oil after 50 hours (but no sooner).
That's break-in oil and I am quite surprised Deere recommends 200 hours (but check your manual again...that may be after the initial break-in oil change and service).
I change my oil annually, even though it may have less then 100 hours on it since the last change. Heck, 200 hours may take you 2 or 3 years to accumulate.

Oh the clamps are there but the battery is to small to hook up. Its just sitting on the plate. I had planned on relplacing the stock battery anyhow. Just thought I would give others some heads up of things to check.

Thanks All:thumbsup:

Saw another thread and person said his 305 loader leaked down over 4 hours. Tested mine and it droped 10 inches in one hour. Kind of disapponted but happy with tractor so far. I checked the owners manual for the loader no mention of drop. Will be checking other sourses and will post. 30 hours and counting.

Hope this info helps others.

Took my old 790 over night to leak down. 3PH would stay up for days (if fact, I never waited to see how long it would stay up). No good reason to perform this test, but there had been posts on the subject years ago and I was curious.

But this test is worthless. First, it's not a good idea to leave the loader raised (safety concerns) and secondly..what does this test tell you? Frankly, nothing...
If the loader does the job you bought it for, it's a good loader...simple as that.

I have 200 hrs of rough duty on one & those loader hydro's are super fast when 2200 -2500 rpm. way over 50 yards of 6"+ jaw run rock 100's & 100's yards of other material & about 30 large stumps, yes,,, stumps..this is dangerouse & I would not do it if I were you. Get a tooth bar.....I also have taco'ed a 3/8" side plate chinese 5' box scraper with it & nothing broken in rear ..I actually now like the bar attachment point for lower arm links, they will break before something seriouse.. cheap fix. The motor is excellent. You have the wrong battery in your tractor. Also it should vent down & way from tractor as my 3032e does, . I would be hesitant on any draw bar on these new smaller tractors. get a 3pt draw bar mounted one, a good one..less risky on breaking that rear housing. I would have broke that 305 loader if it was going to break..

Deere (and other manufacturer's as well) have tolerances (drop time limits) for loaders, backhoes and other hydraulic attachments.

Your dealer could provide you with those specifications if you're inclined to wonder how your loader "stacks up"!

That said... how do you like having a loader that is "fixed" to the tractor frame? The FEL on my JD 110 is integrated into the frame of the tractor as well. IMO - I believe that configuration is superior to the detachable loaders that the other series of JD tractor's offer.

('Course if you do a search of the JD owning/operating forum for loader problems - adjustment/alignment - is a BIG topic of discussion!)

Best of luck with your new tractor!
