New 2032R with Carlisle Versa Turf radial R3 tires

Hi, Long time since my last post. I find myself purchasing another 2032 R to supplement my fleet.

I currently have a 2015 2032R with a 62D deck and Regular turf tires that I primarily use for mowing lawns. It treats the grass OK.
You need to be careful on turns and it will rip up the grass if your in 4WD. I mow very steep slopes and switch in and out of 4WD frequently when I mow. Generally, I am not disappointed with the performance of these tires.

I just ordered a 2020 2032R with Turf tires and a "7 iron" 60 inch deck. This machine is coming with the new VERSA TURF radial R3 tires from Carlisle.

All the advertising seems to indicate they are designed to be easy on grass. They look aggressive. Anybody got any experience with Versa Turf tires on grass ?

I believe these are being referred to some places as a R31 tire, which makes sense since they are a combination of R1 and R3. They look like nice tires but I can't see how they would be "easier" on grass than a R3 as the tread is much more aggressive and spaced farther apart. These tires have been showing up on the 1-series tractors and seem to be a good compromise between a R4 and R3, offering better traction than a R3 yet not as hard on turf as a R4.

Are you sure you are getting the Carlisle "Versa Turf" tires and not the 300/70 R20 R3 Radial Garden-Pro? The reason I ask is that so far the Versa Turf has only been available in the sizes that fits a 1-series. The sizes listed on the Carlisle site don't match any of the sizes used by the 2032R. And lastly, the JD Build Your Own site does not show the Versa Turf as an available tire option.

I'm just curious as you're the first person I've heard getting this tire on a 2-series and I know a lot of 2-series owners WANT this tire.

I am interested in these tires as well for my ZD331.
I started out with basic carlisle turfs, which were not providing enough traction. Then I went to Carlisle bar tires, which get great traction, but tear turf on "zero" turns.

I wanted something in between, but couldnt find anything until these. They have my size 26-12-12 :thumbsup:

Hi, I took delivery of the machine last week. My mistake, the tires that came on it are not Carlisle. They are Galaxy Garden-pro branded radial tires.
Still very aggressive thread for a turf tire. I put about 5 hours on them. Still in mud season here. Not sure yet that they will be friendly to the grass.
