New 1025r optional LED Lights and brackets

I ordered OPTIONAL John Deere LED lights on my new 1025r . Was wondering how to control the led separate from main switch. I understand the light switch lights up the whole lighting system. Maybe a separate ON/OFF toggle wired directly into the hot wire of the leds. Anyone with electrical knowledge that can advise. Thanks in advance.

How did you end up liking the LED lights? I was thinking about adding this to a new tractor.

Yes, they are ok. They are brighter than expected. There isn't any specs on them but I estimate they are around 18 watt which seems pretty standard. They are factory OEM so wiring is a breeze. Plug and play. You'll need the brackets also.
