Last fall I posted a problem with my tractor building up pressure in the cooling system. Everyone on the forum tried to tell me it needed a head gasket. I was skeptical and argued that it ran too good and didn't have any of the symptoms that a car had with a blown head gasket. Well I finally ordered one because I couldn't figure anything else out. I took the head off and looked at the old gasket. No sign of failure at all. No damage, no rust or anything apparant. So I was thinking "here's $200 down the drain". Well I put it on anyway since I had it. I couldn't believe it. No more antifreeze blowing all over me when I mow. Thanks guys and next time I promise I'll listen.
