Just wondering if anyone here uses NetBuddy for their ISP.
NetBuddy uses AT&T towers and if you're in AT&T 4G LTE coverage area,
you are supposed to get truly unlimited (no data caps, no throttling)
internet at 4G LTE speed for $60/month with no contract.
It also requires that you buy one of their 4G routers (they start at $99).

I'm in their 4G LTE coverage area, but I'm a little skeptical about
the speed, especially during the evening hours when the towers
may be congested.

I currently have CenturyLink DSL @ $45/month (includes taxes).
But I'm about 3 miles on copper from their nearest fiber termination
and I can only get 6mb/sec speed. (But it is very reliable and doesn't
slow too badly during peak hours)
But, $15/month more would be worth it to me if I could get a consistent
speed of around 40mb/sec.

Does anyone have any experience with NetBuddy ?

Can't help you with NetBuddy, however. You may want to check with CenturyLink and see if they can upgrade you. CenturyLink as well as AT&T and others are part of the Connect America Fund Project and there may be a new CAF Unit in your area they can out you in and upgrade your speed. There have been a lot of discussion about NetBuddy and other's as well. You will probably have to call them and see about coverage and speeds in your area. I currently use an AT&T Mobley unlimited for $22 a month but the Mobley and that package are no longer available. Uses the same AT&T Towers as NetBuddy.

I am using ubifi which is on the att network. Claims to be unlimited service. Just know you are going to have to fool w it to get good service. In the spring I will play with an out door antenna to get better speed.

We could only get 2mb DSL out where we are. The service was slow and unreliable.

W ubifi the service is reliable. Sometimes slow (3-4mb) and sometimes faster (10mb). With a decent outdoor antenna I should be able to get the slow speeds up to 10-15 mb and the fast speeds up to 30mb or so.

Even those slow speeds would be sufficient to work from home regularly and stream video consistently to two devices.

I'm considering NetBuddy also. I don't think you're obligated to buy one of their routers, but you must buy their SIM card, of course.
Another one I'm considering is OTRMobile. Same price - same deal.

Edit: I just looked at their site and see that I was wrong - you can actually buy your SIM card elsewhere and have them activate it remotely. Interestingly, I don't see a price for this service.
