Am lucky to have 4 Kioti Dealers close by in N. Florida and S. Georgia. The closest is 12 minutes away. The price difference between the dealers was more than I expected. A CK25 at one dealer will cost as much as a CK30 at another.

I guess my question is, do i deal with them like car dealers or just pay sticker. I don't want to insult the Kioti dealers reading this, but I just don't know how else to phrase my question. The one thing the Kioti Dealers all have in common, customer courtesy. I really learned a lot about compact tractors and enjoyed talking with each. It should be obvious the closest dealer didn't have the lowest price.

I will be paying cash for tractor, loader, box blade, brush cutter. Should this be a bargaining tool or a non-issue with the low financing. Am tired of all research and comparing all the differant brands, i want to get to work. When comparing Apples to Apples, all roads have led me back to CK30.

Is $14,500 for CK30 (Shuttle Shift and R4s) and loader a fair price. How much more should I expect to pay for Hydrostat. Should I expect any problems at the Agriculture/DOT check points at the Fla/Ga State line.

Yes that is a good price. Yes some on here will say you should be able to get it cheaper, but my response to that is just because one dealer decides to sell at or near cost the rest of the dealers should not expect to sell for that. Find the dealer that is going to have the best service and help you out when need it. With all machinery, a dealer who will answer any questions for you after the sale and be there for you just as much after as before the sale is one that you would want to go with.

A lot of times on here I read that other members "think" that you should not pay more than "x" amount for a model. When in all reality that amount is really not making the dealer any money, and is based off a dealer just trying to move product at next to nothing, and probably won't be there a couple years down the road. Im not trying to be rude with this post but it just frustrates me sometimes to see people say that you shouldn’t pay anymore for this unit, I know if I sold tractors for some of the prices I see on here I wouldn’t be in business very long. We saw this very same thing happen to a dealer not to far from us. Anyways…. Sorry got off track…

An HST transmission will typically run about $1,000 more. There is some cash back being offered and you might make sure that is figured into the price. You will be very happy with the CK30 tractor; the syncro shuttle is very nice and easy to use. HST units have been very popular with us. Like I said above also shop the dealer just as much as you shop the tractors. Find the dealer with good service, support and the wiliness to work with you down the road should anything arise. And always know we (TBN) are always here to help out!!

Your price on the CK 30 sounds fine to me.

Might I add another perspective. A dealer is to win the customer, not the customer winning the dealer. How is that done? With competative pricing and customer support. Not neccesarily the lowest price as stated. already by others. In my search I was turned off by many (...and I mean MANY!) dealers cavilier attitude that I was a tire kicker. I'm basing that assesment on their tone of voice and rediculous MSRP pricing. This told me they didn't want nor need my buisiness. I didn't take it personally, I just went elsewhere. In the end I got what I wanted from a dealer who really didn't do a whole heck of a lot but he didn't need to. All the other dealers I spoke to did a nice job sending me down the road to him! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think your price seems fair. I paid $500 more for an HST. I think if all of the prices are reasonable within range of each other, go with whomever you feel can give you the best after purchase service and support. Beating dealers over cost serves o-one in the long rwrong, dealers have to make a profit to stay in business to support our purchases /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Being from a "less farms by the day state" I didn't have alot of choices in dealers as you do. I chose a respectful dealer over the one that may have a bigger operation.
To some having a real/ decent size svc. department may sway them. My tractor is a hundred miles anyhow from the dealer and unless theres some catastrophic failure they will never see my tractor in the year period. After that- Ive got tools.
I think HST is about 900-1K more and worth every cent.
The CK30HST is very well built---after you do the deal you will wonder why you worried.... lol
So there are some lemonade stand type operations that have to order every filter direct and maybe charge the least. Depends on what you need. Id expect a large operation to have to charge more and rightfully so.

For the most part you should "deal" with them. After talking to ~8 dealers (Kubota and Kioti) I've found that all of them have given me "initial" offers and all did move down in price when they figured out I was serious (but you do have to make a respectful counter offer).

I can also tell you that how much they were willing (or able) to come down was different for each dealer. Some came down $2000 from their initial offer, some only $250. They all ended up pretty close to the same price (except for one) but they all got there different ways. I will probably purchase my CK30HST next week from the dealer that only came down $250. His initial price was lower than everyone elses "final offer" by about $1750 and he was very up front about his approach to pricing. I ended up spending 5 hours with him (after hours, on a Saturday, while he was trying to get ready for a fair) and it was just a very positive experience.

CK30HST, R4, KL130 FEL, Rhino 75 BH - $19,300

Good luck

Fred
