I'm thinking of getting my F-I-L a Markham toothbar for his 2810 HST. He has the Mahindra loader that came with this tractor. Could someone give me an exact measurement of the inside dimension of the bucket on the loader? The measurement has to be taken about 5" back from the cutting edge. I think I can get the Markam toothbar for around $260. Any one know how much it would cost me to get one from Mahindra.

Mahindra doesn't list a tooth bar for their loaders, and I don't think you can do any better than the Markham tooth bar. My personal tractor is a 2810 HST w/loader, so I will try to get you a measurement tonight.

Thanks Galen. It's kind of hard for me to get a measurement because he is always around. I just don't trust his daughters or wife's tape reading ability. I've got a Markham and he made a comment that he would like to have one like mine.

MDM,
I went out and measured the inside of the bucket on my 2810HST and I came up with 60", but I would make sure they undersize it at least 1/16" to make sure it will slide in. It sure will make a nice present. Good luck.

Thank Galen. Markham says to give them the actual measurement minus 1/4 inch.

Now, can someone else with a 2810 measure to see if the 60" is consistent? I trust Galen's measurement, I just want to make sure the bucket widths don't vary a fraction. I just need to measure my FIL bucket, but that is going to be a sneak job.

I wondered about that also, if all of the buckets were consistent.

I believe mine was 60" when I measured. I won't be home until thursday evening. If you don't get another to confirm, I'll measure mine.

I'm pretty sure that the buckets are made with CNC equipment and welded in a jig so they should be very consistent.
