2013 Kioti DK55
I brought home my new to me DK55 open station yesterday. Can someone please explain to me where the remote levers should be when not in use. Pictures would be great as the tractor is not near me right now. Also pictures of where the 3 point adjustment lever on the back of a tractor attaches to the rest of the mechanism would be great. Mine has popped loose.

The remote levers should be in the center position. Otherwise you deadhead the hydraulic system, which is bad. I believe two sets of remotes were standard on the DK55. I'll have to look to see how that rear lever connects.

In the center position, hydraulic flow does not go to the remotes. Moving a lever one direction directs flow (proportionally) to one of the quick couplers (of a set) with return flow coming back through the other coupler. The other lever works similarly via the other set of couplers. The quick couplers are designed to prevent any flow when disconnected.
At least one lever probably has detents to hold it in the full up and full down position. These detents are useful for attachments, like backhoes, which require a continuous hydraulic flow. But the detents can also cause a "deadhead" situation if accidentally engaged, which is surprisingly easy to do by accident. Except for the detents, the levers are spring-loaded to return to neutral, center position.

Thank you. That explains it very well.
