Need seat belt for a JD 755

I bought a JD 755. It doesn't have a seat belt and i don't know where the other owner did with it. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I work on a lot of hills and thought it would be better. My tractoe does have a ROPS and it is not very helpful without a seat belt.

Check with local JD dealer. You may be able to get a replacement. The part number for the seat belt on my 1987 755 is AM103690. JD Parts lists it as available for $37.85.

First off, you want to order a ROPS for that tractor immediately. Second, in the mean time you DO NOT want to wear a seat belt if you have no ROPS installed. It will prevent you from the one chance you have to jump away from the tractor should it start to roll. The part # for the Tall ROPS for your tractor is AM119856 or AM103728 for the standard ROPS. If the tractor was never equipped with a ROPS; John Deere may give you a discount price like Kubota does. Contact John Deere on their web site and ask. Don't delay on this and get the ROPS asap. The life or injury you prevent may be your own or a family member that uses this tractor.
