Need New Tractor Seat Suggestions

My new to me Landini Mistral had a very very sun cracked seat that needs replacing. The safety belt is also broken. It's a narrow seat assembly and I'm looking to replace the entire unit with something comfortable and non-black.....That begs the question of why equipment manufacturers use black seats in open station equipment? I have ripped out, unbolted, the seat assembly and it does have 2 bottom adapter plates that attach to tractor frame studs and bolts. My question is where to shop ? I did visit a local Tractor Supply and it had paltry selection when I checked it and their online store was slightly better. Any thoughts on where to shop online or regionally?......Thank you, Gary

Thanks guys. I've come to the conclusion that black seats are the common currency for non Deere tractors and that when you want to upgrade with an aftermarket seat that some adapting in required. I decided to stop by a local automotive/boat upholstery and trim shop to see if they could take a stab at it from the original deteriorated seat. They said no can do because tractor seats are injection moulded. I was hoping they could do a mid 50s Chevy Bel Air look. I shall look closer through the online catalogs but I also have a Landini and McCormick dealer looking into aftermarket options for me. If I have to go black I will buy a seat cover to keep it cool on sunny days. On my JD 5325 the yellow open station seat stays cool but the black backhoe seat gets blazing hot. Why couldn't the seat makers so at least a gray or camo seat to cut the heat........Gary

Well my JD dealer came through. Turns out he has a shipping container half full of used JD parts including seats. I came away with a nice seat out of a zero turn mower. My metal shop guy made an adapter plate for the sliders to match with the bottom suspension. The bright yellow seat transforms the blue Italian Landini into a Swedish flag tractor. Now I need to get seatbelts for it.......Gary

Here's a pic . Was a tight fit to get the seat in. Blue and yellow go well with each other. I must admit it's not the most comfortable seat but a definite improvement over the original that was shot. Still used the suspension platform from the original........Cheers, Gary
