Hello, I just bought a Kubota B7610 and it came with a Curtis Hard Cab. The Tuck-Away Heater Fan does not work. Talking with Curtis they say it costs $120. That seems quite high. Has anyone replaced this fan with an after market fan? Also the Windshield wiper does not work and it's price from Curtis is $250. Again seems way higher than it should be. Any ideas?

Thanks!

No thoughts on the wiper motor, I think everyone's are expensive, I could be wrong. But most parts houses should be able to find you a decent priced blower motor if you either remove the motor for them or get them the dimensions.

Thanks! What are you suggesting for a Parts House?

Whoever you have locally, napa, carquest, oreilly. These motors are not terribly unique and any competent parts sales person should be able to identify one for you if you bring them the motor. Many of these parts houses have pretty good websites too that you can use as well.

We're in the process of building a cab for a tractor at work. When I built mine 3 years ago ( and later added a rear wiper) I bought wiper kits from some online hotrod shop. For our current build, we will be using a wiper assembly from the rear window of an SUV.

As a side note, I just bought a complete 20,000BTU heater for the cab and the cost was $150 for the kit plus $20 shipping.

I'd have to believe that you can find a small motor for the heater for under $50.

This is the same heater I used when I built my cab 3 years ago. I can do snow removal without a jacket on the coldest night. It comes with a 2-speed switch and several plumbing fittings.
