Need MF 1020 parts

I am looking for engine parts for a 1987 MF 1020 with a Toyosha cs112. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i am looking for 1 connecting rod ,and a place i can buy bearings and gaskets from.

I don't know where you are but I use Godley for parts which is in Charlotte NC 704-399-9756. They seem to be able to find whatever I need. Maybe not exactly at the price I'd like but better to at least have an option. There are a lot of places that have parts. I use to have an online list of tractor parts places but seem to have lost the link.

I'd call Godley even if your not local especially if you don't know the part numbers. You can then search for part numbers instead of just a model number etc. I'm not sure if Godley ships parts out our not.

Thanks I called Godleys and they can get all the part I need , I have been going crazy trying to find these parts in my area . I am from up state NY and no one can get me these parts .ps you might want to try changing the filter on your hydraulics , I have seen a pluged filter siow down the fel on my fathers new holland TC 18 . good luck thanks again.

What happened???? Was there a ton of hours on engine or total abuse?? I hope to never have the need for connecting rods or any other internal part for my 1020!!!
Hope you get it going and is not extremely costly.

I bought the tracter for $7000.00 I was told it had 690 hours on it . it came with a 6ft flale mower ,It was a one owner tracter so I figured it was a good deal . I used it for three hours then let my father borrow it ,he wanted to try the mower out he never got a chance to try it he called me and told me the motor started to knock.So I toer it apart and the one bearing was shot . It cost me $380 to get the crank welded and turned the rest of the parts are going to cost around $1100.00 . Im going to order them monday thanks again Ron PS Iwill let you know how I make out.

Ron.. Sorry your buy didn't work out so good. I'm also glad Godleys had the parts or can get them for you. They have been there a long time and deal with a lot of tractors. It's been awhile since you last posted. Hope the rebuild is going well. Once your done that engine will last a long time. It will outlast you most likely.

Do you use the flale mower for your yard? I'm curious how well it works. My lawn mower craped out last summer and wandering if I should buy a finish mower (or flale). I have moderately uneven ground in the yard. I'm a little worried about scalping.

Ron. Yes my 1020 was gummed up from mistreatment. I changed all filters and oil. I'm not sure it helped the FEL though. It's not that strong. It's a MF1014 I think. Just as a note the Voltage Reg on those 1020 are expensive. Imported from Japan and cost $140 bucks. Careful when working on the electrical. Ouch! No other alternative reg works.

Ron & AWBS. Don't nean to step on your conversation, but do either of you know what oil filter the Toy 3 cly diesel takes? Also do either of you use synthetic oil and if so which one?

Hey guys, I have a 1010 4x4, I had a issue finding a oil filter for it.Ended up that it took a motorcycle filter of all things.I put a fram on it.Dont like fram a whole bunch.But it was the only one i could find to work. You can go to fram cross reference site,type in the filter thats on it now and it will give you the equivilant.I know that this is off topic of the person of looking for parts,but man owning one of these tractors has been a challenge.Finding parts and info has proven stressfull. I am replacing glow plugs, the dealer wanted 100bucks each. No way. Crossed it myself and found a NGK equivilant. $17.00ea Will be here tommorow, and I hope i can plow the lane.It snows here in canada eh! I have needed glow plugs since last summer. Nothing like waiting till the last min eh!

I went to the WIX website and found a number for the oil & air filter. I also found a local dealer that had them in stock. "O'Reilly's"

Sorry, I know I am quite late to this thread, but I have a 1010 2WD and use a Napa oil filter, part # 1384 I think, but the guy at Napa was able to lookup the part #.

I have a 1010 2wd straight drive, and use the following filters. Had to do a bit of searching to figure them out, but they seem to work fine.

Oil: NAPA FIL1389, WIX 51389
Air: NAPA FIL6270, WIX 46270
Fuel: NAPA FIL3262, WIX 33262
Hydraulic: NAPA FIL1210, WIX 51210

BBB - Sorry I don't use Synthetic although I have thought about it. I don't like having to fill the oil as Synthetics do burn down as they are much thinner. I'm sure it is a better lube though.
