need info

i have what i think is a 8hp kohler Model-k181T spec#30449d if any one could help me find out year and any info on that motor that would be great. should this motor have a fuel pump or gravity feed?looked all over the net and can not seem to get any info matching those #'s

Welcome to the forum.

Is it a big deal? Not really, but it either shows you have had too many cups of coffee this morning, you have a slow connection that didn't show the update, or you easily panic.

By the way, I don't know the answer to your question. You may be able to get more answers if you put out more information on what you are looking for, how you want to use it, etc. From your name, I assume it's for a cart racer, but... that's an assumption.

I have a Kohler k241 10hp that uses a small fuel pump - not that that has anything to do with your k181! I found a fair amount of info (parts stuff mostly) for the k241 by just googling "kohler k241".
