This is where I'm at in the timing process.
I have a light, Innova 5568. It seems to be working fine.
I found the oblong rubber plug to the flywheel housing
I know I need 26* BTDC @2000+RPM
I see timing marks.
I have no idea what Im looking for though as I bring the enging up to RPM and view the light flash on the marks as I have never done this. I have my light flashing, I have set it to 26*, but I am unclear If I am supposed to be looking for a 0 thru the hole or a 26. I also dont see any alignment marks, just the etched increments and timing numbers. They are all visible but they dont stand out per se. Should I apply paint to the 0? the 26 notch? Please hold my hand through this process.
thanks
