Need help w/ Oil leak on hst 2615

I have a 2005 mahindra hst 2615 w/ fel. The tractor has 400 hours on it. I change the oil every 100 hours. At the 300 hour mark, I changed the oil and did not notice any leakage. However, when I changed the oil at the 400 hour mark last week, I noticed leakage around the front of the oil pan under the fan motor area. I cannot tell exactly where the leak is coming from. It does not appear to be bad but more annoying that anything else. Is this a oil pan gasket issue? Any suggestions?

Are you sure you didn't spill some oil when filling it.

Could just be a crank case vent drip and normal. Modern automobile engines use PositiveCrankcaseVentilation valve to redirect the crankcase vapors back into the intake via intake vaccume. Diesels do not develope vaccume, so they just have normal venting of the vapors to the outside world. If it is any consolation, I have never had a motor/vehicle that did not develope some type of leak during it's life.

I am sure I did not spill any oil b/c I noticed the oil leak prior to actually changing the oil.

Jerry, thanks for the information. I am probably just worrying about nothing. Just want to stay on top of my maintenance so to speak and prevent a small issue from becoming a big issue. If the leak gets progressively worse in the future then I will probably take into shop then.
