Need Help: Replacing Jinma 284 Felt washer and seals in front hubs

I'm in the process of replacing the front hub seals and researched everywhere to learn how to do it. The first hub came off with no problem and I did my best to clean off all the grit before breaking any seals. It's now on the bench with the shaft sticking out and seals removed. Some grit fell inside and I'm trying to remove the shaft and bearings so that I can clean it thoroughly. After removing the bottom cover (the one with the little square headed drain plug), I can't figure out if the shaft comes out from the top or the bottom. I tried tapping from the bottom but don't want to force anything.

If I can't get it out, maybe I can just flush it well with diesel fuel, upside down, pouring in fuel from the bottom.

Any ideas?

I think you have to pull the axle 6 or 8 bolts and pull the big gear held in with a small half clip two sections, then the gear can move. been a LONG time as I learned by twisting two axles off NOT to use the FEL and 4x4 at same time lol. the 2nd time was by leaving it in 4x4 by accident when moving a pile of gravel out of the creek. the 1st time was moving a pile of clay/sand and being in a hurry...

BUT I have used my tractor more as a BULLDOZER than anything else...





this last image you can see the two half clips that hold the axle into the housing and that grove creates a weak spot in the metal of the axle.

yes it picked up the rock above but the pathway is about 20 degrees sideways so I drug it mostly backwards with the rock and bucket bouncing on the ground & front tires about 1/2 flat...
