I want to make a log splitter for the FEL on my Kubota L3130. I need help plumbing into the loader hydraulics. Can I tee into the PB port on the accessory block that the loader uses or do I need to go into the high pressure port? Then I assume I tee into the return port also. The accessory block has a PB, high pressure and tank return port correct. Before everyone says I should use a standalone splitter I do use one. I want to use the FEL mounted splitter for big pieces to get them down to size that I can handle on the standalone splitter. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can't "T" pressure lines...just returns...
You will need to come off the power beyond port on the loader valve (what is the GPM ?) into the splitter valve...

Im not exactly sure what you mean come off the power beyond port on the loader valve. Wouldn't the port be already used? The GPM on my tractor pump is 8.3 and total flow is 13.2 steering is 4.9.

It will be slow with 8.3 GPM my stand alone splitter is 16 GPM. There is a line that is power beyond going back to 3 point intercept that and you can T the tank.

On my L3130 have loader, WR Long grapple valve, backhoe, rear remotes and 3 point hitch. The rear remotes and 3 point are bypassed with hoe mounted. So it can be done but running tractor at full throttle for slow splitting is not for me.

So do I have to tap into the PB line? I understand that it will be slow. I just want to get the big pieces split down to manageable lengths to use my standalone splitter. I will post pics if I try to build. Also considering using a pto pump.

So do I have to tap into the PB line?
Normally that is the way to go...unless there is already a front remote the PB port is plugged or goes back to the 3ph...depending on the valve it usually requires an internal plug to utilize the power beyond...then connect the (pb) port to the pressure (in) port on the new splitter valve...connect the working ports to your splitter and "T" the return to the existing return (tank) line on the loader valve...

If the PB port is currently connected to the 3PH...change that hose to the PB port on the splitter valve...you may need to use QD's for when the splitter is not being used...

You will get more experienced advice by posting this in the hydraulics forum...

Ok, its making a little more sense to me. Im trying to decide between a pto pump or using the tractor hydraulics. Thanks for the information.
